With our Nepalese partner Centre for Mental Health and Counselling Nepal[CMC-Nepal], we are delivering an important project that supports the TRC in Nepal called "Psychosocial Counselling and Community Integration for Transitional Justice". The aim is to institutionalise trauma-informed and culturally-appropriate psychosocial support within Nepal's transitional justice architecture.  

The project provides MHPSS technical support to enable the participation of conflict victims and their families to the various truth-hearing sessions and the psychological support services supporting them. Our collaboration focuses on strengthening the reparation process in a way that addresses transgenerational trauma and collective memory in a way that addresses transgenerational trauma.

Our team of experts are providing:

• Training and capacity building of the CMC-Nepal core team of national MHPSS expert team made of  psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses. 
• Strengthening the organisational capacity of the TRC activities by embedding a trauma-informed and healing-centred approach throughout the systems involved.
• On-going clinical supervision, group case discussions, and reflective practice groups to the core team of Nepalese experts.
• Consolidating the documentation of the social-psychological harm  resulting from the insurgency and its consequences over generation and the related interventions.
